She didn't like getting frustrated with him, after all he was just the messenger. But he was taking so long to tell her what was going on back home. It was truly worrying her that he needed that much time to think about what he needed to say. If there was something wrong then she needed to know immediately. There was no time for her to be patient, because she needed to know why others were searching for her. Worry first, get upset later. The possibilities were endless on what could be going on back at the castle. An inner fight, a traitor, a trespasser, someone injured. So many things to worry about, it was no wonder why normally she didn't go out. It also made sense that she was feeling so impatient with Gethro while she waited for him to explain what was happening.
Her reaction was to be expected, because the reason for his beig here was completely ridiculous. The pack couldn't give her any time to herself, they needed to know her whereabouts every minute of the day. So of coarse she would freak out, although she hadn't meant to take it out on him. It wasn't his fault, nor was it him that was trying to disturb her time alone. He was just doing wha the higher ranking wolves were asking him to do. When she turned back to him and began to apologize, he seemed rather calm. The fact that she had just been raving at him didn't faze him in the slightest, which she was both relieved and curious about. Most anyone else would feel bad and be distraught to have the alpha scolding them. Her brow raised curiously as he continued to speak, suggesting they not take the fastest route home but instead take their time. Her lips curled into a sly grin as she stared at him. "It has been some days since i've gotten time to shift" she said, feeling the inner beast practically shaking with excitement.
She reached up and yanked the band from her hair, shaking out her long brown locks. All tension and irritation was gone, replaced by excitement and the need to run. Her blue eyes were already amber as she looked back at him. "Make sure to keep up" she said with a nod towards him before turning towards the forest and charging forward. As she ran the muscles in her body began to ache and shift, her bones began to break and reform. Within a few feet she shed her human form and was now running on all fours. Her brown and black fur blending with the darkness around them. She didn't need to look back to see if he was following her, the wolf ears on her head much more sensative. Agility had always been a strong point of her's, so getting up into the trees was an easy feet. Her canine form only paused for a moment, just to get a glimpse of him, before she leapt onward to the next tree. Exhiliration, freedom, joy, happiness. All things she felt when she ran came flooding back to her.
