Aurora watched as the young girl stood in front of her, tears falling down her cheeks. It was never her intention to make the child so fearful. Standing up, she took a few slow steps towards the girl and gently pressed her large head against the child's chest and rubbed her under the chin. Pulling away slightly, she licked the tears off of the girl's cheek. Aurora looked into the terrified eyes of the girl. "What is your name?" She whispered, sitting down next to her, hoping to make the girl less fearful.
As the young girl answered Aurora's first question, she recalled her own childhood memories. Even though she didn't have any siblings, she had Chloe, her best friend. Those two would always find themselves playing silly games and tormenting the boys at times. Although it saddened Aurora to think of Chloe, she could easily see herself in the young girl standing before her.

Kerin was reasured by the fact that she had been in front of the extreamly frightening large wolf before her, and she was still intact, not eatten in the least bit. One thing was certain, she was going to tell her parents that they were very wrong. Perhaps they just ate adults. Standing up a little more, and fully removin her fists from her eyes, she watched as the alpha moved towards her. Uh Oh.... maybe I was wrong again? Maybe now she is going to eat me! Kerin closed her eyes, shut them tight against her fate. Then she could fell the soft fur of Aurora against her chin. The alpha asked her what her name was, and Kerin thought that was odd. Does she want to know my name before she eats me?"My name's Kerin." She replied feeling a little confused.

Aurora could tell that the girl was still afraid, although she wasn't as much as she had been when they first began their talk. If you could call this a talk. The Alpha female gave her own shoulder a few licks as she waited for the child to start trusting her more. Finally the girl answered her second question. My name's Kerin. Aurora nodded, that sounded about right. Even though she couldn't recall it before, it was starting to come back to her. Kerin's parents were both middle-aged. Lila and Brantly. They had another daughter and a son from the same liter as Kerin. Aurora smiled and nodded slightly, almost to herself, proud that she could remember. Even if it was her job.
The Alpha looked at Kerin and smiled, still sitting fairly close to her. "Alright Kerin, I have to go now, but it was great talking to you. Maybe we can do this again sometime soon." Aurora said gently, standing up and rubbing against Kerin once more. She hoped this would help the young girl trust the Alphas more and help her become much less fearful of them. "Oh! And Kerin, if you see anyone carrying scrolls in the castle, please find me or another adult and tell them. They went missing and we really need to find them, okay?" She said, with a smile, starting to walk down the hall again becoming focused on the task at hand once more.

Kerin watched as the alpha stood and licked her shoulder. She wasn't feeling so afraid anymore, now that she had been right next to her teeth and still lived to remmeber the sight of the big husky canines. She wondered if her wolf would have canines that big when she was older? Perking up straight away she smiled and stood patiently to see what the alpha female wanted. She was also revealing in the fact that she would have loads of stories to tell her friends and family about her meeting the alpha for the first time. Then the female asked her about the scrolls, and the pleasent face of Kerin fell rather quickly and she found that her foes suddenly looked much more intersting then the giant wolf walking away. She had hidden those scrolls, and now felt bad because the wolf that didn't hurt her was looking for them. She thought about it and nodding her head she made her decision." The scroll is under the sofa in the upstairs library..." She was still looking down, but only out of shame that she had stolen from them at all. Her friends could think what they wanted of her, she would not betray this nice lady.

Aurora took a few steps further down the hall before Kerin spoke again. The scroll is under the sofa in the upstairs library... The blonde wolf turned around quickly, forgetting that the child just overcame the fear of the Alphas moments ago. "What did you just say?" She asked quietly, taking a few steps towards the tiny girl. "Kerin, how do you know where they are? Who took them? Did you see?" Aurora asked, becoming more abrupt as she asked each question. She tried to remind herself that she needed to stay calm so she didn't scare Kerin again. "I'm sorry, go ahead and explain. Please." She said, sitting down calmly. Aurora finally noticed that Kerin was looking down, almost as if she was ashamed. Something told Aurora that it wasn't an enemy that stole the scroll. It was this little child. Even though she wasn't happy about it, Aurora knew that some kind of discipline would have to come of this incident.
