Dominic strolled calmly through the door of the tavern with Siren following close behind. He stopped abruptly and scanned the faces of the patrons and barkeep as his eyes adjusted to the lighting, noting the uncivilized appearance of most everyone. If there were ever a guild of lowlifes, this would surely be the headquarters. The alpha knew they wouldn't have to do much to stir up trouble. He nodded in the general direction of a vacant table in the corner of the room to signal for Siren to follow him. He stepped carelessly through the tables of ruffians, brushing up against more than one customer on his way to his seat. As he reached the end of the row of tables he found his seat and lazily sat back against the wall, taking a cigarrette out of the pocket of his leather coat and lighting it. It would appear that their presence wasn't wanted entirely as they were the recipents of many sneers. He smiled and clasped his hands behind his head as he leaned towards Siren.
"I don't think they like me very much." He paused for a moment before turning his attention to another group who was staring in their direction. He took one hand from behind his head and pointed at the men before speaking in an almost sarcastic and teasing manner. "But they seem to like you." He leaned back in his chair as a jittery waitress found her way to their table. She was talking extremely fast but Dominic thought he caught her greeting and parts of her asking to take an order. He simply shook his head and didn't want anything at the time, instead sitting back and waiting for his companion to speak.

Someone like her was often noted as easy prey to most humans, however several of them were giving her wary glances. Truth be told she had fought a few of them before, and would easily do so again. Repressing a chuckle of amusement she followed Dominic to their table. Imediatly he laid back and lounged without a caution in the world, and she caught herself wondering at this only briefly this time. His dominant display in the forest on the way here had already served its pupose by reminding her who she was with, as if she could forget though. Striding over fluidly across the shoddy floor that looked like it couldn't hold her up much less anyone else that ventured in, she took a seat next to Dominic.
In no time at all a waitress was at their side bantering on about what to order. Dominic looked less then intrigued and quickly waved her away. As if sensing the man's power she obliged and scuttled as far away as she could without even turning to offer Siren anything. In fact Siren had been poised to speak, her mouth was open, her words had died before ever leaving her lips.
Anger flared in her eyes at the audacity the woman had. Growa backbone and get over here to take my order! Was flickering inside her head, as she thought about shooting death glares to the lady. Instead she shot straight up out of her seat and marched over to the waitress. It didn't even occur to her that her alpha sitting at the table with her might have been trying to speak to her as well before she had gotten up. Nor had she considered that he was angered by her flare up. She didn't care to think about such things, she wanted a meal and this lady was darn well going to take her order for it. In a place like this other smells blocked out the source of her chase, so instead she pinned the lady with a stare. " A little rude thier before weren't you! Might I have wanted something to eat or drink hmm? It is not my responsibility to have to track you down for my meal."
Siren was giving voice to her very name sake, as she was pitched into an aggravated yell at the lady. Some were giving her looks of pity as she was chewed out. The waitress however simply cowered and waited for the bickering to end.
