Though, he wasn’t pleased with the idea of wild cats attacking her either. He shifted, pushing fingers through his thick hair as he pondered on her words a moment longer. She hadn’t gone to a doctor and instead thought to heal it herself and Draziar had have the mind to berate her for that as he always thought it better to seek out the aid of a healer than to simply attempt it himself. For it to still be bothering her this long, be it a few days or whatever, probably was a good hint it needed to see a doctor. He didn’t voice his thoughts, however, and his attention perked when she took a few steps before speaking. He gave a smile and rose to his full height intent on following Emma down the slop. He eased himself down the slope after Emma, moving slower than Emma was going as he still never liked climbing down slopes as opposed to climbing up them. He hummed in joy as he made it back down without slipping and embarrassing himself in front of the Alphess. He strolled back over to the water, watching as she went out only until the water was around her calves. He stood behind her thoughtfully, simply watching her for a moment before he shrugged away his thoughts and dropped his hands to his jeans. Without second thought Draziar slipped out of his pants, letting them fall heavily to the ground before stepping out fully and making his way to the water. He was not fond of wet cloths, and if he was going to get back into the water just so he could continue being around Emma then he was just going to take the jeans off; which would leave him blissfully naked. Of course, Draziar wasn’t exactly sure how Emma would respond, but he was not ashamed and he had no problem being naked around anyone. He stepped up next to her, maybe three steps to the left of her, before he sunk down to sit in the shallow area. The water came up to wrap around his stomach and he crossed his arms over his lap, back arching a little as he simply slumped without care of proper form. If he could be a nudist he would. He never understood why people were so…against even the slightest idea of it. Always said it was indecent and frowned upon those who even walked around with minimal cloths on. It wasn’t as if everything turned sexual just because you were naked; that was only part of the time. Shrugging it off Draziar turned his amber gaze to Emma in thought. Of course it wasn’t too much strain on his neck as he was surely positive with him sitting his head was aligned with her ribs. ”So, how’s it going,” A boyish smile tugged the corner of his lips, a light humor shining his eyes in a wild amusement. He had already asked how she was, how things were going, but it just seemed like the right thing to say after following her and promptly getting naked before taking a seat in the water next to her. His shoulders were relaxed and in fact he was more relaxed than he had been even before Emma showed up. He enjoyed company, whether it was a lot of others, or just one. Even before Emma had the chance to respond a disturbance in the water drew Draziar’s attention. Amber eyes narrowed at the rippling water as his very spine began to tingle while his blood ran cold. The first thing that ran through his head was ‘snake’ and that very word had him ready to race out of the water, throw his cloths back on and get the hell out of there. Alas, the rippling was a little bigger than what a snake would make; unless it was some kind of mutant snake coming to gobble him alive. He moved his outstretched legs, bringing them closer to himself as his trained eyes never left the moving ripples. He scowled when it suddenly gave violent thrash sending water about before it was gone and he figured it was a fish. He let out a breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding and turned his gaze back to Emma about to make a comment of the sudden fish only to pause completely as something smooth brushed up along his leg. He jumped from the water with a shout, water splashing everywhere from his frantic movement. He landed off to the sound only to yelp realizing he had moved to a deeper part of the pool of water and fell back as his foot slipped off the edge. He surfaced from the water, shaking his head back and forth throwing water drops everywhere. ”Is there a snake?!”

[/sup][/color] He looked all around as he fidgeted where he stood in water that came up to his chest. He was to worried about the snake to even concern himself about the strangled noise he had made the moment something slid along his legs. While Draziar splashed around, circling about and looking for the said snake something moved away from the noise, circling around before bumping up against Emma’s own legs.

Her intention hadn’t been to engage him in a playful swim, but if he chose to take the time to wade in the water beside her, she wouldn’t oppose. When she heard the sounds of moving water close behind her, she turned to face Draziar, who, much to her surprise was completely in the buff. Her eyes widened as she took in his unclothed form. The female was accustomed to being around unclothed human bodies for she had assisted with a few minor medical procedures over the years. But those had been semi professional settings and there had been no other alternative but to remove the victim’s clothing. The current situation on the other hand, struck Emma as very unusual and she wasn’t sure how she ought to respond. Lifting one of her arms, she fiddled with the ends of her straight brown hair and watched as the male lowered himself beside her and sat calmly in the slowly moving water. Evidently the male was used to roaming about in his birthday suit because it appeared as though he didn’t have a care in the world. And he certainly wasn’t in the least bit ashamed of his figure and didn’t mind that everything was out in the open for the world to see. She cocked her head to the side as he once again made an inquiry about her day. She couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Chuckling quietly she answered, “it’s been a little strange actually. You’d better pay attention to how much time you spend in the sun like that. I can assure you that there are some areas you don’t want to get burned.” The young woman remained standing in place, not interested in removing her own clothing and basking in the water beneath the hot summer sun. She wasn’t ashamed of her body of course; she just wasn’t interested in getting completely wet. She watched as the water a few feet from where she stood began to ripple. It didn’t concern her in the least, for she assumed it was merely a large fish eyeing an insect that had the misfortune of landing atop the moving water. But apparently Draziar wasn’t so at ease with the whole ordeal and she eyed him as he pulled his legs in toward himself and sat hunched in the shallow water. She felt that he was being a little silly, but she didn’t bring it to his attention. Clearly he was paranoid and she knew that if she made a fuss over his behavior, it would only get worse. Her attention moved back toward the rippling water and she watched as the perpetrator slowly moved in her direction. Draziar was having none of it, and flew out of the water and unintentionally plunged into the deeper end of the pool. Her eyes widened as he rose, shook his head, and mentioned something about a snake. Emma shook her head back and fourth in a negative gesture then answered calmly, “no Draziar, I don’t think so. Why are you making such a fuss? It’s probably just a fish trying to get its mouth around an insect. For goodness sake, come over here and sit down.” But the young man was still beside himself and was fidgeting looking all around as though there were an axe murderer on the loose. The alpha didn’t think her words were going to calm the male; he would probably have to find a way to regain control all on his own. She wanted to reach out and save him, but there wasn’t anything to save him FROM. Or so she thought. Before she could send another word in her beta’s direction, the young woman felt a heavy creature bump into one of her legs. Immediately, she looked down in order to catch a glimpse of the perpetrator and gasped in horror as a rather large baby shark glided in circles around her. In the grand scheme of things it was a rather small shark, about four feet from nose to tail but its mouth was full of sharp triangular teeth and it looked a little bit hungry. Running her hands over her face in exasperation, she wondered how she was going to get Draziar and herself out of the water without upsetting the young shark. It occurred to the woman then, that the youngster probably wasn’t traveling alone. The girl didn’t know much about sharks but she did know that youngsters generally traveled with their mothers for some time after their birth. Moaning quietly, she moved her hands from her face and looked at Draziar who was still splashing about. Without hesitating she barked, “stop that splashing. It’s not a snake, it’s a shark. And with you flailing about like that, it is going to think you are its next meal. Now calm your ass down and slowly walk out of the water.” As it had been lately, Emma’s luck was in the crapper. Though the wound on her shoulder was markedly better, it was still a little raw and had reopened only slightly when she shifted. The shark could smell the blood and of course, it wanted a sample. Knowing she needed to get out of the pool, the woman backed up slowly, grunting when her movement was stopped by the young shark who was now resting behind her. As she prepared to turn around and step over the animal, she saw a horrific sight in the near distance. A triangular gray fin popped out of the water a few feet from where Draziar splashed about, and slowly headed in his direction. “Draziar! Get out of the water now!.” The woman watched in horror as the shark near her beta rose partially from the water and opened her jaws. Oddly enough, she didn’t strike, and instead headed directly for Emma who had yet to get out of the pool. The larger creature snapped her jaws, attempting to take a chunk from Emma’s leg, but missed by a few inches. Frustrated, she splashed the water with her tail and moved back toward Draziar, who was making no progress at all. The smaller shark was still focused on Emma and began gnashing his teeth playfully as though he were toying with her before actually taking a bite. Note: This is great. His heart thudded frantically against his rib cage that he could have sworn that wolves’ miles away could hear the frantic drumming. Emma’s words caught his ears and he looked up towards her a little disoriented at the moment. A fish trying to find a bug to eat was all it was? Draziar wasn’t sure he wanted to find out, but her command to go back over and sit down had him moving closer for only a second before his nervousness sunk in a little deeper than his desire to follow an order from his Alphess. His amber gaze dropped down, moving all over the water to see beneath it once again looking for any possible snake that could have been around to cause him a panic attack. Though as she barked at him he froze instantly from his splashing around, in attempt to scare snakes away hoping that doing such would work for the nasty little bastards. A shark? For a moment he stared at her with a dumbstruck expression not sure if he had really heard that word come from her mouth. He opened his mouth to comment on it, but the severity of her exasperated expression made him shut it instantly and slowly do as she instructed. His head ducked a little embarrassed that he had rather flipped out over the idea of a snake being in the water with them. It wasn’t something he enjoyed others finding out, or ever seeing how he reacted over them, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. So it was a shark, or so she claimed it to be. Didn’t sharks only live in salt water? Quickly his mind wracked with the idea of a shark being in such pure water. He reached up, scratching his pointed nails against his head in a thoughtful manner as he scowled unable to remember if sharks were purely salt water native, or if they were capable of being in water like the water he was currently in. About the time he got to where the water was just below his pecks Emma’s voice cried out and his head swung up to look at her only to hear sudden movement behind him. Quickly he spun around only to yelp in surprise and quickly leaped out of the way only to realize the large shark was not after him. His chest clenched in horror as he curved the way he was going and lunged at the creature as it made an attempt for Emma. He snarled loudly as he made to pounce on it. Luckily Emma had moved out of the way just in time and now Draziar was faced with the problem of the Shark. He back pedaled away, baring his fangs aggressively as his only goal at the moment was to get the shark away from Emma. A shark was no problem for Draziar, of course he had never personally seen one before in his lifetime and so had no idea what they were like and he had to admit he was a little nervous. He was in the water which was the shark’s territory while he was a wolf; a land based creature. The shark followed his movements as Draziar backtracked into the water and Draziar was quickly thinking about what to do. He wasn’t sure if he should contend with the thing as it had many more fangs than Draziar did; not to mention it was made of pure muscle unlike Draziar who was only ninety-five percent muscle. However, now was not the time to be pondering on which creature had more muscle than the other, especially with the way that thing starting to come at him quicker. For a moment he turned his amber gaze from the shark up towards Emma to make sure she really was okay and took note she was still looking down at something around her legs. Though, when his foot suddenly slipped out of him Draziar gave a loud yelp as he once more plunged into the water and almost instantly the shark shot towards him. Draziar took no time to panic as he quickly twisted beneath the water and shoved his feet against the edge he had just previously fallen from and attempted to race away from the chasing jaws full of fangs that was rather eager to tear him up. He swam deeper into the water quickly towards a set of rocks and quickly grasped onto them and pulled himself into a crevice just barely big enough to fit himself into. He tensed when he felt the shark slam into the rocks, lashing around angrily as it tried to burrow through the rock at get to him. He twisted around to look at the crevice he had entered as his hands pressed against the rock just above him and watched as the shark snapped it’s jaws furiously as it just barely fit her head into the crevice , but was unable to fit the rest of her body into the rocks. An eye clenched shut as a burning in his lungs reminded him that he needed to get some air before he drowned to death and quickly he turned back around and dragged himself along the rocks praying to god there was an opening to wherever this rock tunnel thing led. The mama shark, however, eventually gave up trying to get into the rocks and begrudgingly swam back from the rocks and set her mind to the other piece of meat her little baby was hopefully gnawing on; perhaps she could get a bite. She rose back up until her fin pushed up over the water’s surface and she looked around for the other she had first went for before slowly making her way back towards Emma, patiently waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Emma was in the shark’s territory and the fish knew how to navigate through the water much better than the young woman did. Emma was out of her comfort zone and knew that she needed to get out of the water as quickly as she could. But the shark knew that she had been injured and wanted to take advantage of Emma as quickly as he could. The girl watched as the shark sped through the water, the liquid rippling as he moved. Emma saw the beast’s sharp white teeth glisten as he dove toward her with his mouth open wide. Fortunately, Emma had been anticipating his attack and shimmied to the right before the oversized fish could wrap his jaws around her. But the shark didn’t give up quickly, and darted toward Emma once again, this time grazing her calf with his teeth. The wound wasn’t serious or deep but the girl cringed, not liking the pain. She watched as the water around her began to turn red and as expected, the shark went mad. In a complete frenzy, he sped toward Emma, hoping to finish what he started. But the girl had a small boost of adrenaline and dove to the side, somehow managing to avoid the animal’s ghastly fangs. Her body slammed against the bank, nearly knocking the wind completely out of her. But she was safe and out of the water and certainly had no complaints about that. But what about Draziar? She knew that because she was safe and out of the water, the sharks’ full attention would be on the male. She hoped that he had enough sense to keep calm and focus his attention on getting back on land, but she had no idea how he dealt with and reacted to crises. After all, she had known him for only a very brief period of time. The girl sensed that her beta was frightened, and rightly so. He was contending with a monster and didn’t have much to fight with. But he had his wits going for him, and Emma hoped that he would utilize his intelligence and get himself out of the frightening and dangerous situation. She watched as he moved through the water, making a valiant effort to get somewhere safe. Her heart raced within her chest as she watched him, rushing dark red blood through her veins. For a moment he vanished, leaving her sight completely. She didn’t know where he went or if he was all right and she attempted to sit upright and try to locate him but failed, and fell back onto the ground with a thump. Her eyes never left the pool however, and she breathed a sight of relief as she spotted the young man, seemingly unharmed. She watched him struggle on the rocks and cried: “Draziar, get out of there now! I’m fine. Get out of that pool before they come back!” She didn’t know if he would hear or listen to her request but she hoped that if he had heard, he would adhere. Water dripped from the brunette’s form, creating shallow pools around her body. She hardly noticed however, her attention focused solely on Draziar and his struggle to free himself from the shark’s clutches.
