I was thinking about making a second character which gave me an idea. I think it may be a good idea to have different accounts for each character. My reasoning is this: When I'm shopping for a new forum to join, the first thing I look at is how many active members are in the SL. If we all sign on with each character once a day or so, people will come to the site and see that and think "oh hey, this place is active. I should join." Just a thought.

This does in the long run of things sound like a good idea, however I have never tried this form of running the forum. I have been on forums where there is one character per account and while that does make it easier to say activity is up, I don't particuly like it. I know I would keep all of my characters on the same account. However I understand the wisdom in this. I'm not sure. I will think on it, and get back to you. Bane I would like to know how you feel as well. A good suggestion though.
While I find the idea intriguing and rather fun I can't bring myself to make that many different accounts. I would be to lazy and wouldn't feel like logging in and out all the time to post. Where it would make the site look active it might also make it seem polluted and overly populated when it really isn't.
There is also the draw back of just how many characters you plan on having. It would be difficult to keep track of who is who. I mean it would be easy to know which characters you owned personally but you wouldn't be sure who owns which other character.
Although that also brings up another idea, We could do it this way and then you would never be sure who exactly you were RPing with which might make things interesting. Like we would encourage people to hide their emails from other members... I dunno just a thought.
Though in general I would rather just have my one account.
