Leon looked in horror as he saw Aurora looking toward himself and then to Tuvio not realizing that her kill had a little more something in it and it crashed to the ground making contact with her back leg. It didn’t seem that there would be any break or serious damage but it would definitely render her incapable of carrying her own kill back to the castle. He turned and saw that in the time he had been watching events unfold around Aurora that Tuvio had finished with his kill and was back in his human form. He heaved his kill onto his shoulder and gave the orders.
Leon looked around and then stood up, transforming into his human state and looked around the small area for a large enough tree to suit his purpose. “I’ll just throw some bark over Aurora’s kill, keep curious things at bay. Even if only for a moment.” He grinned and grabbed the side of a tree ripping a large hunk of it’s thick bark off. It was much stronger than he expected and the force of ripping it off the trunk caused a rather heavy rope to fall from up in the tree and hit Leon on the head nearly knocking him off his feet. “Someone must have been trapping and left this behind. This should make getting these kills back all the more easier, no need to send out a second team sir.” He said to Tuvio as he dragged first his kill, then Aurora’s onto the large hunk of bark.
Reaching down he put a notch on either side of the bark and wrapped the rope securely through it making a sort of reign. “Dog sledding 101 eh?” he chuckled and let himself fall to the ground in his transformation back to the wolf and reached down picking the rope up between his teeth. He turned his head to the leader and, around the rope, he mumbled “I’ll meet you there.” He knew that he would take more time than the two of them, even if Aurora was injured and so he tested the weight and took off into the woods at a steady jog._____________________Word Count: 364
