The Guilded Wolves are a group of human lycanthrope worshippers.
After a nuclear outburst, scouting parties searching for life met with a group of lycanthropes. A woman named Cyria Ironhold, who was a member of the Fury, looked upon the lycans not as savages, but as a divine race, one that had the potential to rule over mankind. She spread tales of her interactions with them, and eventually formed a group known as the Guilded Wolf. Initially her group met with little resistance, as the threat of this new society was yet unknown. Quietly and with great care, she chose members of "The Fury" to join her cause.
They clothe themselves in robes of all styles and colors, wanting to differentiate themselves without drawing too much negative attention. For identification purposes, they are each given a tattoo that expresses their rank in the organization. Newcomers are given a crest containing a paw print on their strongest arm. Worshippers were given three important tasks: to spread the word of the wolves, to find more individuals to join the guild, and to try and learn about the lycans in order to form a partnership with the packs. Cyria paved the way for others with these tasks, and she eventually married a wolf man named Gerret Fenris, the alpha male of a small pack of wolves. With the aid of Fenris' pack, Cyria was better able to show others how humans and wolves could get along, emphasizing that it was as possible for wolf and man to live together as it was for man and man.
