Road From Nowhere (OPEN)

It was a cloudy afternoon in New York. Hawk was skateing the streets doing manuals, fliptricks, and verts. Hawk was beaten, and bloody, he had been in a fight with a wolf, useing his board as a weapon, he defeated the wolf, but not without a price, hawk had been slashed down his right eye. blinded in one eye he stumbled to make his way to safety. he was barely standing, but Hawk new that he had lived to fight another day, but this time with a battle wound.

Brom was seething with anger. He was not having a good day at all. There had been a few rogue wolves in the territory of the Apocolypitc Fury. Being a member and supporter of the human faction, Brom had fought the wolves off, and had done considerably well. Of course he was able to use the skill of duplication. He could make compies of himself, up to five at one time to be exact. Currently he was wearing his faded navy blue hoodie and black pants. His eyes were a light blue shade, but being able to duplicate, he could change them to any other shade.

He noticed Hawk walking, or rather stumbling along the streets of New York, or what was left of New York. True the place had been rebuilding, but it was the same as everywhere else. No technology, no electricity, a true wasteland. He had never really talked to Hawk before, but he figured now was a good time to start. Noting the skateboard in his hands, he figured that he could use that as a subject of interest if he ran out of things to say. Hawk did appear injured, and that bothered him. Walking over to him, he spoke out."Hey Hawk, wait up! Somw fight back there. You ok? Your not doing any tricks with injuries like that are you?"

Hawk looks up and says" hey Brom, no im not doiin tricks while i'm injured" hawk the pushes his hair revealing his gashed eye. Losing his energy, Hawk throws the board on the ground and sits on it. he then took off his shirt, and put it on his eye to stop the bleeding. Hawk asks Brom to help him back to camp for better medical atention.

Brom rubbed his chin, the scruffy beard tickling his hand while he did so. He listened to what Hawk said, and nodded to himself. It shocked him when Hawk revealed the open wound around his eye.It was all torn and looked horrible. If it didn't receive medical attention, then it might get infected. "Certainly don't want it to get infected. That would be really bad. Of course I will help you out." Brom wondered what had actually happened to Hawk, because where Brom had been the fighting was not as rough. "How many were there in your section of the fight?" In all Brom had only counted about six attackers, and he had held off two of them, though he could have been mistaken on the number.

"there was only one, but it must have been the leader, he put up a good fight". Hawk knew the blood loss would make him faint in a matter of minute, but he pressed on following Brom. "How far is it?" Hawk said as he jumped on his board.not thinking of the pain, Hawk kept riding, not relizing he was ahead of Brom, he kept going at a steady pace. The only thing that passed through Hawk's head was "How long?" To pass the time, he told Brom how his parents were murdered by the wolves.

Brom thought Hawk was a little reckless at first for taking on the wolves alone, however the fact that it didn't seem to bother Hawk at all, had him more concerned. He watched as Hawk threw his board to the ground and balanced on it, skating beside him while he walked, as if the injury was nothing. Brom knew better then to let it go. He jogged to catch up with Hawk. It seemed all the conversation was going to go on about now was about how far from the place they were."Its not far from here. I know of an old building that has some medical supplies. Perhaps to patch up that eye."
