Hawk knew that stopping wasn't his brightest idea, but he couldn't go on, he needed sleep. As Hawk set up camp, he looked at brom, Hawk noticed a spark in brom's eye that said " i don't want to be here ". He ignored it and kept working. By the time he was done with camp, it was dusk, he still needed to set up a fire. Hawk grabbed two stones, and hit them against eachother with a swift verosity. As the sparks flew on to some brush, and the perfect fire was made. Later, Hawk fell asleep without a thought of the next day, but he did not realize, that he was in for a lot more than he ever imagined.

Brom had skirted the edges of the camp site, picking up sticks here and there to use to keep the fire going, and then walked over to where the fire was being started. Fires usually were something that drew people together in harsh times, but Brom felt more to the contrary of that. He was uneasy, and he kept to the shadows barely letting his skin catch the fires glow. It seemed smarter to him, to avoid its light with another unknown camp site not far off from there own. They were strangers, and technically so was Hawk. Brom was uninjured, and he could out last his soreness and stiffness until they made it into town, he just didn't trust it, his instincts said no.
Nothing happened in throughout the night, and for that he was thankful. Smoke both from there small fire, and the unknown one was rising into the cool morning air signaling the burning embers retreat, and the process that would soon turn everything within the glow to ash. He stood and stretched, then went to go and hunt for food. He was some what concerned with leaving Hawk alseep, but not so much as to actually wake him up. He was convinced that nothing would eat him, and since they hdan't been attacked at night that they were safe for the moment. Not that the last part was a proven fact, but he hoped so, as surly the people inhabbiting the other camp would have reached them by now if they were investigating.
