Give in to the night (Open )

He smiled slightly as he heard her answer to his question. So this female seemed to feel the same way about him. He did not like the feeling that she was giving him. He had never felt anything like this before. He had spent his whole life running away from feelings like this. He really did not even know the name of this emotion. He smiled at her in return. ‘’ then maybe we could arrane something latter. ’’ he said moving back from her tail now. He normaly would have gotten upset at her for that but something kept him form doing that..

He heard her giggle as she whent back in to the bushes. He walked up to the edge of the bushees to follow her in now. After she had looked at him again. The feeling that he had felt before came back every time he glance at her. No there was no way that one female had made him feel that way so fast. He tried to keep the feeling away from his mind as he sniffed the air again. He heard her snort as he followed her. He then picked up his pace to get ahead of her now.

He moved at a steady pace looking back so that he did not loose the female. He could tell that the heard of deer were close now. He then stopped a fair distance from them so that the female could catch up to him. He could not stop thinking about the feeling that he kept getting from her every now and then.

Her ears perked when he said "then maybe we could arrange something later" "Umm sure" she replied back smiling shyly. She cursed at herself on the inside. She was starting to like him more and more and couldn't stop the feeling from coming up. Aleyah walked on through the bushes and then saw him walk past her. She took a glance at him as he did and couldn't help but stare for a moment. "He's not all that mean...just misunderstood is all" she thought. A breeze came through the bushes and she stopped short looking at the sky. "I shouldn't even be here..." she thought while her ears went slightly back. She looked back after Quentin as he moved at a steady pace ahead and she thought of leaving him to hunt on his own without her. Getting ready to turn away she froze though and breathed in the cool air and closed her eyes smelling his scent along with the deer herd.

Opening her eyes she looked ahead seeing Quentin looking back at her. And she slightly tilted her head whispering to herself "Maybe he's different" and started to follow after him catching up to him quickly as she saw him stop. Slowing and then stopping beside him and said softly out of no where "Thanks for giving me a chance...." Leyah was sure that he would try and figure out what she meant. "i mean with not getting to upset with me and just walking away....like some others have done" she finished her baby blue eyes going to the ground. Lots of others who she had hung around with hadn't really done anything but glare her down as if she was a disgrace to be around. Though she did get used to it that was why she didn't leave Quentin alone when she did. Her ears went back and she shook her head taking off to her left to a nearby creek and stopped sitting down. To many emotions were going through her. Hatred, Sadnes, Fear, and one that she hadn't showed to anybody.

I sigh released from her and she starred into the water the moon reflecting its light on it. She made an excuse to Quentin "Sorry I guess i'm not really hungry" she said loud enough for him to hear if he followed. She was lying to herself she really hadn't eaten for about a week and her stomach said it all as it growled in protest. For once she let Sadness appear in her eyes.

Her smiled at her resonce. He could not help getting the feeling that the female was watching him as he walked. That did not really bother him sll that much. He liked her and kind of wanted to be with her. He lowered his head tring to keep that thought out of his mind. He had to keep wondering why this female was getting to him when no one else had. He contuted to walk now waiting to hear the sound of the female walking behind him. Had the female left him alone he would hsve known that he could not trust her. That was how the male thought about things.


He saw her looking at him now. He tried to keep from smiling at her as she did this. He then looked her in her eyes he could tell that she was not certain of something as she spoke. As she spoke he listened to her while sill looking in her eyes as if he wanted to find some hidden answer in them. ‘’ You gave me no reason not to. ’’ he said with a slight smiled. He did noot really know what he should say to her. He was never one to learn about others emotions. He watched her as she walked away from him. He was not sure why but after a few seconds he walked behind her and watched her for a few seconds.


He looked at her he was awaere of the fact that she was upset now. He had to wonder if it was something that he had done. He lowered his head as he walked closer to her. He then looked up at her. ‘’ That is okay. ’’ he said looking away from her now. He thought for a second . Then he looked at her with a slight frown and said. ‘’ you want to know something . You are one of the few that I actaly like and kind of trust. ’’ he said looking at her with a comforting yet sad look in his eyes.

Her ear twitched when she heard him say "you want to know something . You are one of the few that I actaly like and kind of trust." and she said "I'm glad to hear that" while not looking at him. Leyah raised her head to look at him and saw that his eyes were comforting yet sad. Blinking her own eyes she said softly "You are not a monster Quentin...." she paused for a moment slightly tilting her head and said "you're just misunderstood... you have kindness in you it's just hard for you to show it.."

She looked away toward the creek and finished "just like it is me" Her light blue eyes went back to his and she made her ears slightly go back and said "I know what you're going through..." Aleyah really did know what he was going through. Not really seeming to fit in anywhere. Yeah she knew what that felt like alright. She wasn't raised with siblings or made friends she was just alone.

Then it finally hit her like a wave "I'm really all alone in this world...I have no family,friends, or anything" she cried out. She didnt notice Quentin still beside her anymore" Leyah lifted a paw and splashed it across the water before saying "I was left alone since my mother died..." A breath came out and she finished "maybe I shouldn't even be alive as well....then maybe I won't have to worry about being alone"

He heard her say that she was glad to hear his statement. He gave a slight frown at her statement. He had never had anyone tell him that. He did not see how she could say that when she had not known him but fore a few hours. He did not say anything though. He did not want to let his mouth get the best of him and end up hurting her feelings like he had done to so many others. There was a reason that he was a loner.

When she looked away her frowned slightly. He could not help but feel sorry for her. He did not like that for he had never felt way about anyone. He watched her as her ears went back. He could understand that if she felt the same way. After all he could not be the only one who felt that way. He did not know what to say but he laid down and listened to her wanting to let the words come to his mind.

Then something happened that he did not really expect to happen. It seemed that the female was having trouble with her emotions. How many times had he gone into violent rages just because he did not get something done right. Too many times for him to even count. He felt saddened by the females words. He took a breath now. And stood up with a sad look in his eyes. She must have felt real pain at the lose of her parent. ‘’ you should never think that way. I am here with you as long as you will let me be. I promise as long as you let me be beside you I will always be your friend. ’’ He said. He did not know where those words had come from but her meant them and hoped that she understood what he was getting at.

She came from her little break down hearing Quentin say "you should never think that way. I am here with you as long as you will let me be. I promise as long as you let me be beside you I will always be your friend." Leyah looked up at him seeing that his eyes were sad looking. His words echoed in her head for a moment as she studied his face to see if he meant what he said. Then she said "You would?" Her heart was beating hard against her chest.

Letting herself go into thought she thought of her ex and thought "He used me" Her ears went back at that and then she thought "That could happen again" Leyah stood up now thinking of taking a step back. She was cautious in replying to Quentin's statement nd gave it a long thought before saying "I've been hurt once before...but I trust you and know you wouldn't do that" A weak smile crossed her face and she blinked. Looking toward the water she gave something a little more thought.

Her eyes now soft went back toward him for a minute and she stepped closer to him pushing her head in his chest. Her body was slightly tensed if he changed his mind on his words. She was still unsure but she said "If you promise...then I promise as well" Leyah stepped back from him to hear what he was going to say or do.
