He watched the female as she reacted to his words. She seemed to belive what he had said. He ment every word that he said. He liked her and wated to be her friend. He had never felt that way towards anyone. He did not understand what made the female so diffent. So he decied that he would just stop trying to figure it out. He liked her and wanted to be with her and hoped that she felt the same way about him. He bearly heard her anwser to his question threw all of the thoughts that were running threw his mind now. ‘’ Yes I will. I promise it.’’ he said.

He was diffent from most others. When he promised something then he would never go back to on it no matter what. He was one of the most loyal friends that anyone would ever have. He watched her as she stood up now.he wondered if she truly belived in him . He could only hope that she did.then he heard her words. They almost made his heart leap out of his chest from excitement. He held that emotion back though. He had learned not to get exceted over things. ‘’ no I would never do that to you. ’’ he said

He smiled when the female looked at him softly. He had never had anyone look at him like that. Then again he had never let them get that close. He felt her put her head aginst his chest. That was one of the best feelings that he had ever had in his life. He wached her as she walked away now waiting for him to respond. He walked up closer to her and smiled.’’ I do promise I will never let you down my friend. ’’ he said rubbing his head softly aginst her neck.

Leyah felt excitement fill up in her for once since she had been on her own. Now she actually had a friend that she could trust and be around. Her thoughts going through her head were interrupted when she saw him walk closer. Then she heard him say "I do promise I will never let you down my friend."   Her heart nearly jumped our her chest when she felt his head rub against her neck. She slightly giggled and returned the rub against his neck then moved back smiling. Her paws moved toward the water and she took a drink. Her light blue eyes went to Quentin and she smiled water dripping from her muzzle. Lifting her head she moved out the water and started playfully jumping back. "Come on my friend Quentin" she laughed and took off through the bushes. "Keep up if can!" she yelled back.  Her legs moved faster as she started to head for the herd of deer they were hunting. She hadn't ever ran from somebody for fun in a long time. She looked back to see if Quentin was following or not.  _____________________ 209:words.

He smiled as the female seemed to be calmed by his words. He wanted her to trust him. He was actually happy instead of anger. The new sensation was odd to him. He tried to keep himself calm though. He did not wanted to act like a fool or anything. He wanted to keep his calm posture. It would be hard for him to show his emotion but so far he was doing a good job. Now if he could just keep his darn temper in check he would do just fine. That was a task easier said then done.


He smiled as he felt her rub his neck in return. He could not believe just how nice that felt. It was the first time in a long tome that he had let anything get that close to him. Actually it was more like his very fist time letting someone get that close.. He watched her as she moved away. He was happy now. He watched her drink form the water smiling when the water dripped from her face. He watched her as she jumped back. His tail started to wag now. ‘’ Okay my friend Aleyah’’ he said. He felt the excitement build now. He would let it show now.

As she took off he just smiled hurrying after her. It did not take him that long to catch her. He could smell the sent of the deer heard as he raced after her. He had never played a game of chase with anyone. That was one of the downsides to being a loner. He saw her look back at him and he ran faster so that he could catch up.

When she looked back and saw him running after her she sped up and laughed. Her body moved faster and faster then she slowed catching the scent of the herd much closer now. Her head went back to Quentin and she smirked and quickly planted her front legs in the ground stopping.  Her stomach growled as the wind blew the herds scent to her nose and her fur bristled with excitement. "Hey how about we eat now?" she asked. Her ears forward listening to the steps the herd gave off not far from them. Leyah started to walk quietly toward them now. When she remembered she still wasn't much if a hunter and she sighed.  "I don't think I'll do any good" she said looking down still walking. "Sometimes I've gone up to a week without eating...what if I don't catch one?" she asked stopping her ears going back.  Here is her talking color the color # for it is   _____________________ 0:words.

He raced after the female. He was letting her win to be honest. He still kept uo with her though. He huffed a bit as she whent faster. As he moved his thick golden fur moved against the wind. He breathed in now tacking in the sent of both her and the deer heard that was just in front of them now. He too was hungery though he did eat more often then the female. Most of the time he was too busey hiding to hunt. He slid slightly on his paws when she stopped suddenly in front of him. He dug his nails in to the dirt and smiled at her slightly.

He heard what the female said now and smiled. Yes eating did sound real good right now. He too could hear the sounds of the deer as they moved threw the woods. He started to follow the female with a smile now. When he heard her give a sigh. He listened to her as she spoke. He was confident that she would do fne after all he was right here to help her if she needed him to.

“ Do not worry about that. I am here to help you my friend. I am certain that you will do fine.” he said softly. He did not want to risk scareing the deer by talking too loud.” If you do not get one then I will get one for you not to worry. That is what friends are for . ” he said softly. He was tring to encourage the female now. What she did not know was that he could be a powerful hunter when he is hungery.
